NCLB and CT

At this moment, the prime NCLB war fronts involve Utah and Connecticut legislators. DemfromCT has more on the politics within CT for those interested.

I'm sure all of you know this already but it was the CT efforts to oppose NCLB which provoked the infamous Spellings inferences about 'un-American' attitudes and the Paigian 'soft bigotry of low expectations'. More here and here. Spin of this ilk from Spellings cannot be amplified enough as part of the practice of political thuggery.
