Thuggery from the military-industrial complex

E&P estimates the loss of advertising dollars for the LAT may be around $20 million, a huge loss.

I'm usually a critic of our local paper but today I'm responding to the bullying tactics of GM. GM is not only an auto maker, but it also happens to be part of the military-industrial complex, an important sidenote to all this and rarely mentioned.

Dan Neil, who is the putative reason for this thuggery, also happens to be one of my favorite writers. In my book, what is the big deal about criticizing GM?

That is the role of an independent press. A flourishing democracy requires one that isn't shackled or kept. Here's one more reason our democracy is another more step down the road to fascism.
