I give up

One of the most amazing things to experience in real life is to see the poorest of the parents at our school be the ones to vehemently defend Schwarzenegger. It just about astounds me beyond anything.

Schwarzenegger has just screwed over their kids over big time in his new budget. These are the kids who would be hurt the most, the ones who really can't afford to go to private school as an alternative. And these are the parents who tell me they support what he's doing because he's making changes and everyone else was afraid to stand up to special interests.

Lord help us.

(And, no, I'm not really giving up but it's Friday, I'm tired, I'm pissed, and I just want to spend some time on the internets catching up).
