WaPo subsidiary (aka Kaplan) lands a $1.4M contract with DC schools

No kidding. Just another tiny reminder to all that Kaplan is making bucks for the WaPo parent company.
A subsidiary of the Washington Post Co. has been awarded a $1.4 million sole-source contract by the D.C. Board of Education to provide supplemental educational services required under the federal No Child Left Behind (NCLB) Act.
Remember to think twice whenever the WaPo covers NCLB. Now shouldn't they be more upfront about this?

I checked WaPo for any news of this. Hmmmm. Nothing.
