Susan Ohanian

I just found out she's speaking here this weekend at the late great Midnight Special Bookstore. The bookstore will close soon and this event may be one of the last. Of course, it seems I won't be able to make it, since I'm helping out at our school Science Fair that day.

Susan Ohanian probably has the most comprehensive website on NCLB. For her troubles, she is of course regularly reviled by the rightwingers on the web. I suppose that is the equivalent of a badge of honor. You know you're making an impact if they whine about you. In any case, I would like to see her speak. We'll see.
