Or help others get registered. Kevin Hayden has pulled together an awesome voter resource at The American Street. It's definitely worth emailing or copying if you're helping to get people registered to vote in your state.
I know people consider California a safe state. Nevertheless, I'm volunteering time manning voter reg tables. Education matters make a difference locally; our school district has literally millions more dollars due to local money.

Deadline in California: the registrar has to receive your app by Oct. 18th. You need to register again if you've moved, changed your name, or changed party affiliation.
