This article on Carlyle, by way of Cyndy at mousemusings, has been a damned hard read, not because of the English but because the content is absolutely frightening. The Carlyle people are not shy; they are taking the whole military-industrial complex thingy to the next level, if that's possible. And it looks as though no one is stopping them.

And, yup, I bet this'll be sure to get me more of those a*r*m*y(dot)m*i*l readers to this blog. (Hey, my readership is pretty small, really). But here goes anyway.
