I can't believe I waited this long...

The first grader turned another year old this week, but it also means we're putting on a kid party. (And for those who have yet to be parents, be forewarned. Parties seem to be a big deal with kiddies these days). The biggest deal is getting out invites, and since school just started, we didn't have much lead time.

And the party is in 10 days. Aaack. Which means I'm running around trying to figure out how many kids are coming, calling parents for a headcount, and trying to find gender-appropriate stuff for party favors, whatever that means. Needless to say, I'm pressed for time; posting will be light until I get caught up.
