Friday home-made gingerbread house blogging

Why be smart and buy the pre-made kits? Nooooo, not me. I just can't seem to do things the easy way.

I used Hoya90's recipe that he posted in his diary at dkos. It's pretty simple, easy and fun. One trick is to not overbake, else you're literally working with baked gingerbricks.

For pattern inspiration, I hung out at Franky's Attic. I ended up using their gingerbread house pattern specially designed for kids. Elf houses!
