What I did Monday

Field trip to the Museum of Television and Radio, Beverly Hills. We learned about puppets on television, saw a video snippet with a very young and sexy Harry Belafonte singing with the Muppets, and made a simple puppet to take home. Aside from the motion-sickness inducing ride on the school bus, I enjoyed being one of many parent chaperones. The only drawback: no time to actually see the museum. They keep the schoolkids safely segregated from the heart of the museum, no doubt a wise move. Kind of scary to even think of bringing 60 kindergarteners to visit a museum. We'll have to return one day to actually tour the place.
