Public health and profit

From jo brooks comes notice of this article discussing the vulnerability and integrity of our medical care when medical researchers and medical doctors stand to profit. My sense of skepticism comes from personal experience. I know there are plenty of ethical researchers. However, this article highlights how easy it is for someone to hijack the system and our trust. Unfortunately, money is corrupting, especially when the nexus between private companies and public health becomes hopelessly intertwined. Think Alien (the movie).
