Speaking of mom power

Activist mom power, once tapped, runs deep and powerful. The most obvious case in point is Cindy Sheehan, who has single-handedly sparked the peace movement now going strong in today's DC rally.

In the blogging world, I want to brag about Grace Davis, over at her very fine blog home Dr Laura's Worst Nightmare, who has been blogger mom extraordinaire with her Katrina efforts.

She's been doing so much I can't keep up with her. She's got a central communication blog set up to get supplies to Katrina survivors. Really practical stuff cuz moms (parents, really) know people need the basics, the little things to really live reasonably.

Of course, Grace is in the process of setting up a new site up for Rita.

Mom power rocks.
