Today: Support Conyers on the Downing Street Minutes

from AfterDowningStreet.org:
Congressman John Conyers, Congresswoman Maxine Waters, and Congresswoman Barbara Lee are asking their colleagues in the House of Representatives to join them on the evening of June 28 to discuss the Downing Street Minutes on the floor of the House.

They need our help. Please contact your Congress Member right away and ask them to contact the Judiciary Committee staff and commit to taking part.

I see PSotD has a very nice list of our representatives and their stance. Time to bug our legislators (House and Senate) if they're not on the list. Thank them if they are on board with Conyers' letter. And while you're there, you can also ask your House Reps to join Conyers on the floor of the House tonight.

As for California, Waxman and Boxer have signed (Waxman on Conyers', Boxer on Kerry's) though I don't know if Waxman will join Conyers on the floor, and Dianne Feinstein hasn't signed a thing. No surprises there.

UPDATE: John Conyers' statement on his blog.
