Task force to look at NCLB

At the national level, a positive development:
A bipartisan panel of state legislators from across the nation will try to resolve the nagging differences over funding and implementation of the federal No Child Left Behind Act.

The National Conference of State Legislatures this week announced the appointment of a 22-member task force to examine the impact of the law on the states and develop recommendations by this fall to make it more workable.
The NCSL have been active in tracking how states are dealing with NCLB.
